— transparent plastic, or organic glass, is very good from a safety point of view: to break it into pieces, you need either a very strong blow (which, most likely, will render the watch “hardware” unusable), or an extremely unfortunate combination of circumstances, in other cases this glass just cracks. At the same time, plastic is very sensitive to scratches and quickly becomes cloudy due to the appearance of microscopic roughness on it. Therefore, the main scope of its application are relatively inexpensive watches with a sporty design.
