— an extremely common material today — it is found in almost any price category of watches, from the cheapest to the top ones. This is due to the combination of low cost and ease of processing with high strength, reliability and the ability to use without protective coatings — the steel is not only resistant to corrosion, but also has a pleasant appearance. Steel cases are quite weighty, but this can hardly be attributed to unambiguous shortcomings — massive watches have their own “army of fans”, which is quite extensive.
