Essentials is a brand by BergHOFF that combines several sublines of cookware at entry and mid-price levels. Essentials includes classic frying pans and grills with non-stick coatings, as well as a separate Uqonic Downdraft line designed specifically for cooktops with built-in extraction.

Classic Essentials models are made from forged aluminum with a Fernogreen non-stick coating on the inside. The coating is free of harmful substances and creates a smooth surface for cooking and easy maintenance. The handle is made using soft touch technology—it is soft to the touch, doesn't heat up, and its thoughtful shape makes cooking convenient. It is recommended to wash by hand and use non-metal kitchen tools to preserve the coating. The classic line includes frying pans of various diameters and a grill pan with a ribbed bottom.

The Uqonic Downdraft line is aimed at kitchens with cooktops equipped with an integrated extractor. Steam and odors are directed through a special channel in the lid directly into the extraction system, preventing heat loss and ensuring more energy-efficient cooking. The universal glass lid can be rotated 180 degrees to fully cover the cookware. Frying pans in this line are equipped with a CeraGreen ceramic non-stick coating, while some pots and sauté pans in the sets are made from stainless steel without a coating. The items are suitable for all types of stoves, including induction, and for dishwasher cleaning, except for pans with non-stick coating. The line is sold both as individual items and as part of sets.
