— the ceramic coating is notable primarily for its resistance to scratches and complete harmlessness even when such appear — and to scratch it, you need to try hard. Accordingly, blades of any material can be used with ceramics; it also tolerates high temperatures well, plus such pans look very nice. The main disadvantage of this coating is its brittleness: ceramics can break from a relatively mild impact, and besides, it cannot be cooled abruptly (for example, with cold water on a hot frying pan).
