Heat indicator

— the pan construction includes a heat indication system. The specific construction options can vary—from the simplest indicators made of sensitive material that changes color when heated to a certain temperature, to electronic circuits with digital displays, sound alerts, and so on. In any case, a thermal sensor makes it easier to monitor the heating, eliminates the need for various tricks to check the temperature (like a drop of water on the pan), and helps avoid overheating. The latter is especially important for cookware made from thin aluminum and/or with a Teflon coating.
