After the German brand Alphacool made a splash with its elite Eisbaer LSS, the company decided to come down to earth and release a more affordable alternative to the conventional Eisbaer Aurora. Thus, in 2022, a new line of liquid cooling systems was born for budget-conscious users who are looking for an optimal price-performance ratio and are not eager to overpay for auxiliary functions.

Unlike Eisbaer models, there is no way to expand the circuit or add water, there is no RGB/ARGB backlight and there is no screen built into the pump to display system information. Most Alphacool models are classic all-in-one life-support systems, which are ready for installation into the system without the need to purchase individual system elements. As a rule, they are equipped with two- and three-section aluminum radiators and several fans that can automatically adjust the rotation speed to optimize noise levels and cooling efficiency.

To expand their sphere of influence as much as possible, Alphacool have released all popular standard sizes (approx: 120, 240, 280, 360 and 420 mm), which to one degree or another are better suited for different types of cases with processors of different levels. If a two-section 240-mm dropsy is best suited for cooling 6/8-core mid-range processors, then a monstrous 420-mm can handle cooling a slightly overclocked Ryzen 9 or Core i9. Naturally, each cooling system comes with a set of current socket mounts, including AMD AM4 and AM5 and Intel LGA 1200 and LGA 1700.
