The series of processor coolers is designed for a wide variety of user needs - from budget office solutions to high-performance gaming PCs and workstations. It is difficult to compete with the rich experience of the South Korean brand Zalman - the company has been producing computer cooling systems since 1999 and has since released more than one legendary model. But unlike most competitors, who produce dozens of similar cooling systems, order and understanding reign in the ranks of Zalman - all the popular dropsy coolers today come out in the Alpha series, tower coolers belong to the CNPS family.
Because of their diversity, CNPS coolers cater to a wide range of users, from casual consumers who need affordable, reliable cooling to enthusiasts and gamers who demand maximum performance and low noise levels. The physical characteristics of CNPS tower coolers vary depending on the specific model and include both classic towers and low-profile coolers to ensure compatibility with most modern cases and motherboards. However, low-profile and low-power COs are much less common, and the basis of the series is still made up of classic towers with a height of 150 - 165 mm with a solid thermal package in the region of 180 - 240 W.
Excellent examples of classic medium format towers are the CNPS9X and CNPS10X models. Both offer improved performance using four copper heatpipes and highly efficient 120mm fans that reach up to 1500 RPM. The thermal package of such a model is usually in the range from 180 to 230 W, allowing you to cool quite powerful 8/10/14-core processors of the Ryzen 7/Core i7 level. Occasionally in the ranks of CNPS there are real super coolers like the Zalman CNPS20X, equipped with two radiators and two active fans, which are assembled into a kind of sandwich. The TDP of such a monster reaches 300 W, allowing it to compete on equal terms with supercoolers from Noctua, Be Quiet, Thermalright, Thermaltake and other brands.
