German brand Be quiet! has an unusually wide range of cooling systems, in which, out of habit, it is easy to get confused. At the head of the hierarchy are the elite Dark Rock CBO towers, designed to cool powerful multi-core processors under overclocking. Pure Rock models are better suited to users who, on the one hand, want to save money, and on the other hand, are not ready to compromise on quality issues. Well, Shadow Rock CBOs are a kind of golden mean between functionality, noise level and price.

Compared to other lines, the Shadow Rock series is very diverse. On the one hand, here you can find unusual low-profile towers with a high level of TDP. For example, Shadow Rock LP and Shadow Rock TF 2. On the other hand, in the Shadow Rock showcase there are also monumental CBOs a la Shadow Rock 3 with five heat pipes, an impressive TDP of up to 190 W and a massive structure almost 170 mm high. Naturally, they did not forget about the classic CBOs of traditional dimensions, designed for classic Midi Tower cases. In general, the entire series is designed to work in tandem with overclocking 4 and 6-core processors of the Intel Core i7 and Ryzen 7 caliber. For more modest CPUs, their performance will be excessive, but the conditional Core i9 may not have enough airflow even with automatic overclocking.

Otherwise, the Shadow Rock CBOs are built according to the utilitarian principles of be quiet!: maximum quality + serious TDP + minimum noise level. The use of proprietary Shadow Wings turntables with automatic PWM speed adjustment allows you to achieve minimal noise both in idle and under maximum load. Most often, a maximum passport noise level of 24 dB is declared for them, which is considered a very worthy result.
