Differences between the models: DC-S1R differs from DC-S1 in a denser matrix (47 MP vs. 24 MP), the absence of an AA filter and increased bit depth when recording video. At the same time, the DC-S1H has a 24MP sensor and shoots 6K video (previous models up to 4K).

The top mirrorless camera from Panasonic's portfolio, armed with a 24MP full-frame image sensor. The sensor is fixed on a movable stabilizing platform, which provides compensation for displacements of the "carcass" of the camera along 5 axes. Its effectiveness is estimated by the ability to win up to 5 stops or exposure with unstabilized optics and up to 6.5 stops in Dual IS mode.

The Panasonic DC-S5 matrix works out the native ISO range from 100 to 51200 units. Mirrorless shoots photos at 7 fps, records 10-bit 4:2:2 video at 4K resolution at 60 fps with 1.5x crop and V-Log / V-Gammut profiles (or from the full width of the sensor, but already with a frame rate of 24/30 fps). Videographers will appreciate the presence on board the camera connectors for connecting a microphone and headphones.

To store the footage, there are two slots for UHS-II type SD cards. The model is equipped with an OLED viewfinder, a 3-inch touch screen with degrees of freedom in all axes, wireless adapters Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. On one charge of the DMW-BLK22 battery, the camera is capable of shooting about 440 frames. As a whale lens for a camera, a universal zoom with a set of focal lengths of 20-60 mm and a “floating” f / 3.5-5.6 aperture is often offered.
