Onboard Equipment

The S1R model is oriented towards professional photography, so unlike the basic S1 version, its video capabilities have been slightly reduced. The camera is equipped with a built-in Dual IS stabilization system, based on sensor shift, intelligent autofocus, and an OLED viewfinder with a resolution of 5.76 million pixels. For data storage, there is a dual slot for XQD and SD UHS-II memory cards.

Excellent Quality

The Panasonic DC-S1R provides high-quality images when shooting at ISO up to 3200 and higher. The autofocus system uses a contrast method for focusing, implemented with the proprietary Depth from Defocus technology. Continuous shooting is possible at speeds up to 9 fps or 6 fps with continuous autofocus. The camera's buffer can store about 40 RAW images or more than 50 frames in JPEG format.

4K Video Recording

The camera supports video recording at resolutions up to 4K at 60 fps with a minimal crop factor (1.1x). As previously mentioned, the expanded video capabilities are implemented in the basic Panasonic DC-S1 version. Notable remarks include the fairly large weight of the device (over 1 kg without the lens).
