Does a full frame make a difference? Is it worth buying a full-frame camera?Do I need to spend money on an expensive full frame or is it better to buy a cropped camera?..

Decoding Nikon Camera Series and Model LabelsIn this article, we will focus on decoding Nikon camera series.
Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon D5500 kit 18-55 is a highly regarded DSLR camera, praised for its 24MP sensor that delivers excellent image detail, especially at low ISOs. Users appreciate the rotating touchscreen display for its quality image and convenient touch features, particularly in LiveView mode. The camera is lightweight, making it easy to handle, and the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic body adds to its durability. The autofocus is generally quick and reliable, though it can be slower in live view mode, making it challenging to capture fast-moving subjects like children or animals. The camera's Wi-Fi capability is a standout feature, enhancing its user-friendliness. Overall, the Nikon D5500 is considered a great choice for both semi-professional and advanced amateur photographers, offering a balance of performance and portability.
Pros
Cons
A tragedy happened. While on vacation in Egypt, I drowned my old loyal Nikon D3000. According to careful estimates, the deceased took about 11,000 shots... and what shots they were! ... Amen ((( The question of a successor had to be resolved decisively and quickly, before the money left from pre-New Year’s hard earnings was spent. I stayed loyal to the brand, but decided to move to the next league – the five-thousand series. I bought a D5500 body, along with an 18-105mm lens. The replacement for the D3000 turned out to be more than worthy. The D5500 is two heads above it. A good semi-professional or advanced amateur DSLR camera. 24MP sensor and these aren't just a bunch of made-up marketing pixels, these are real pixels. The sensor, of course, isn't full-frame, but the image detail at low ISOs is excellent. There's little noise up to 1600 inclusive, but above that, luminance noise becomes noticeable, and from 6400, slight color noise appears. The autofocus is persistent, meticulous, and quick despite all this. However, when using the display for framing, it's not as impressive. The rotating touchscreen display pleased with its quality image, good viewing angles, and convenient touch features. The touch functionality is especially valuable in LiveView mode. The body is convenient, made of high-quality plastic reinforced with carbon fiber. The controls are familiar and cause no issues. The weight of 900g for the body+zoom set feels like nothing. But in the hands, you certainly notice it. The battery turned out to be quite durable. Knock on wood to not jinx it ))) Noticeably slower autofocus when shooting in live view mode. It is simply impossible to shoot actively playing children or animals in this mode, only through the viewfinder or manual focus. use Nikon D5500 body month or more |
female camera. I love it. This shop sold it for a good price. delivered on time and without problems. Fits perfectly in my hand and it's light (I am a girl). I can't lug around a brick and see no point in it. It's lightweight and small. The touchscreen is reeeeeally convenient. The screen image is of very high quality. Pleases the eye. Wi-Fi is the best thing in the world for any device - that's what I think about this option. But it's probably purely a girl's camera. But as a girl, I see no downside in that. All one big plus. But none of this is important in this case - the main thing is that I bought this camera on this site cheaper than anywhere else. no |
