The Epoch series reflects the Swedish brand Fractal Design’s traditional blend of elegance, minimalism, and functionality without excessive decoration. These cases are designed for designers, artists, animators, and developers who value performance and a subdued appearance without aggressive gaming aesthetics. Essentially, Epoch is a logical evolution of the popular North series, with the difference that wooden panels have given way to practical mesh cladding with excellent ventilation.


Technically, the Epoch series is built on the proven architecture of classic Midi Tower towers with a vertical ATX motherboard tray and a lower tier for the power supply and drives. The carefully thought-out cooling system typically includes six spots for air cooling (three fans are already factory-installed) plus the option to install various-sized liquid cooling systems, including large 360mm radiators. This approach allows for efficient cooling of quite hot processors and graphics cards, which is especially critical for workstations geared towards video processing, 3D rendering, and other resource-intensive tasks.

Traditionally for Fractal Design, the range includes several modifications of the basic case with various side panel options—transparent or solid—and optional fan lighting for those who still want to add a little visual accent. All versions are available in two color options: classic black and elegant white.
