The platform is compatible with mini-ITX motherboards, while supporting powerful high-performance video cards up to 355 mm in length. 70 mm is available for the CPU heat exchanger. It is recommended to cool the processor with a water block. The chassis allows you to install a 140 or 280 mm SVO radiator on board, depending on the length of the video card.

The 140mm liquid cooling radiator pairs well with small discrete graphics up to 175mm. The Fractal Design Ridge computer case is equipped with an increased performance air cooling system. The standard configuration includes two Aspect 14 PWM fans (140 mm) with PWM adjustment of the airflow intensity. Additionally, the factory configuration includes a PCIe 4.0 riser. This case can also be found with a PCIe 3.0 riser.

Three slots are allocated simultaneously for installing a discrete video card. The control panel has two USB 3.2 gen1 connectors and another USB type C 3.2 gen2 port, and there is also a single combo jack for the audio system. The case is equipped with a front air intake with a fabric dust filter. There are large ventilation channels on the side covers, as well as on the top and also on the bottom. The platform can be placed both horizontally and vertically.
