The Node line from the eminent Swedish brand Fractal Design includes versatile miniature cases for a variety of use cases. Fractal Design actively experimented in search of the optimal form, so in the Node series you can find minis of various kinds. Most often, these are either flat boxes similar to audio receivers, or low and spacious cubes of the Cube Case format. Despite their compact dimensions, all Node chassis are designed for medium-complexity gaming builds and are able to fit a large AAA-class graphics card and a powerful processor with massive tower cooling.

Among the Cube Case models, the Node 304 and Node 804 chassis are the most popular. Both are much higher than average, belong to the near-top level, support the installation of mini-ITX motherboards, video cards up to 320 mm long and powerful processors with tower coolers up to 1165 mm high. 3 case fans are already installed on board. The design is made in the spirit of the Fractal Design Define models with their minimalist finish, good ventilation and total noise reduction in every slot. The difference between the Node 304 and the Node 804 is that the older model has a small window on the side, more drive pockets, and a lot more room for case fans.

Among the desktop options, the NODE 202 model deserves special attention, the design of which resembles either a game console or a minimalistic audio receiver. Thanks to the detachable legs, it can be placed vertically like a regular case, or placed on a table and used as a monitor stand. The manufacturer boasts that the internal volume of the case is only 10.2 liters, while it can install a mini-ITX motherboard, a powerful video card up to 310 mm long, a powerful processor with a low-profile heatsink and a couple of drives. The chassis is immediately ready for assembly, as a pair of case turntables and a 450W power supply are pre-installed inside.
