HTPC (home theaters)

— cases designed for HTPCs — multimedia-oriented computers used more as media centers (home theaters) than as classic PCs. The features of such cases are, first of all, relatively small dimensions and horizontal layout with a small height; as a result, HTPCs use mostly low-profile add-on boards. In addition, additional media control buttons and/or an infrared remote control sensor may be provided on the front panel.
