Backlight

— the presence of backlight in case. This function does not play a practical role, but it gives the computer an interesting and bright appearance, which is why it is very much appreciated by fans of external tuning (modding) and is often used in high-end gaming cases. The colour and location of the backlight may be different: in some models, only the cooler on the side surface is illuminated, in others, the grille on the front panel, the viewing window (see the relevant paragraph), etc.

Note that in the absence of a backlight system, it can be purchased and installed separately. However, this may require additional work, and in most cases it is more convenient to purchase a solution with ready-made built-in lighting.
