Recently, the American brand Patriot enjoys special honor among east european gamers. All thanks to competent pricing, when even serious overclocking models with b-die chips from Samsung are a little more expensive than classic slats without radiators and laptop SO-DIMM memory. Another charm of the Viper line is a large assortment.

The dominant position is occupied by DDR4 Viper Steel class RAM. This is an overclocking memory with an impressive overclocking potential, more than adequate prices and massive metal radiators (height 44 mm), which are covered with a shiny varnish imitating weapon steel. Special attention to this series is attracted by the fact that Patriot became one of the first companies to present memory with frequencies of 4200 – 4400 MHz for the mass market.

In second and third place in the list of favorites are the Viper 4 and Viper Blackout kits. Both are equipped with slightly thicker, and at the same time low radiators with small scallops, support XMP and boast impressive overclocking potential and high standard frequencies. At first glance, they differ only in the colour of the radiator (red for Viper 4, black for Viper Blackout), but there are also technical differences. Viper Blackout was released later, supports XPM 2.0 and is able to reach higher frequencies. Patriot promises 4400 MHZ.

Much less often in this line there are Viper RGB kits with fashionable backlight and Viper 3 versions of the DDR3 class, which stand out due to the green radiator.
