— one of the characteristic features of the European layout is the Enter key, which occupies two rows and is slightly wider at the top. In addition, the modifier keys are asymmetrical: Shift's differ in size (the left one is shorter than the right one), and Alt's differ in purpose (the right Alt is denoted as "Alt Gr" and serves to insert special characters of European languages). The ISO layout differs from the similar "Japanese" JIS in many respects by the location of the backslash "\" — it is standardly located near the left Shift'a (in some models it is duplicated near Enter'a). As a result, the left Shift is shorter than usual; this can be inconvenient, especially if you are not used to it.ISO (European) | clear | Save List |
