Pros
I highly recommend installing an SSD in your laptop! You'll get a fantastic performance boost. Even buying a new laptop model won't give you such a leap. Initially, I wanted to sell my 2011 MacBook Pro and get a more modern model. But a friend suggested simply replacing the drive. So I did. I was amazed. I thought I would get a speed increase of at most 20%. But the laptop was like new. Applications now launch twice as fast, and the system loads in just about 10 seconds! So now I can forget about upgrading for a few more years. Moreover, I compared its performance with a newer model that has a hard drive. The comparison was in favor of my "old-timer" with an SSD. As for the durability of an SSD, there's no need to worry. Optimize your OS, install more RAM, and you'll be happy. And in any case, the drive will last at least two years. That's two years of high-speed performance. Speed! The laptop seems to have gotten a second life! Complete silence, no need to fear shakes. The device itself is very light, much lighter than a regular hard drive. The cost is lower than similar models from competitors. Also, SSDs have lower power consumption than hard drives. But I can't really say anything about that, as it didn't seem to affect the laptop's battery life in my case. They are not there! use Samsung 840 EVO week i recommend it should buy |
