A relatively compact medium-weighted mirrorless camera that has grown in muscle in the third generation in many important aspects. In particular, the camera got a higher-resolution Micro 4/3 image sensor at 20.4 MP (the predecessor model had a 16 MP sensor). Working side by side with it is an eight-core TruePic VIII processor. The model uses a stabilization system based on the image sensor shift, which, together with conventional optics, compensates for up to 5.5 stops of shutter speed or exposure, and when paired with stabilized lenses, it provides a gain of up to 6.5 stops (Sync IS).
The camera's hybrid autofocus system is based on 121 cross-type phase detection points directly on the sensor. Also, in the process of automatic focus, the data of the contrast detection method are used. The software shelf of the model has interesting Pro Capture modes (the ability to capture the right moment as accurately as possible) and High Res Shot (obtaining 50-megapixel shots by shooting several frames with a one-pixel offset and then gluing them together).
Video capabilities are represented by a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 pixels at 24 fps and a more familiar 3840x2160 pixels at 30 fps with a bitrate of up to 102 Mbps. For sighting, a 3-inch swivel display with touch control support and a digital viewfinder with a resolution of 2.36 million pixels are used. The battery charge of the camera is enough to take about 310 photos.
