5-axis image stabilization
The camera houses a 20-megapixel Micro 4/3 sensor — this format was developed and implemented in the hardware of Olympus and Panasonic. Incidentally, it became the basis for the emergence of mirrorless cameras. The camera's image sensor is mounted on a movable stabilizing platform, which allows you to gain up to 4.5 shutter speed stops when shooting handheld in low light conditions.
Basic video recording capabilities
The TruePic VIII processor handles image processing. This mirrorless camera can achieve continuous shooting speeds of up to 15 fps, and video recording is possible in a maximum resolution of 4K (3840x2160 pixels at 30 fps). However, in video shooting mode, you will have to use the camera's built-in tools, since its design lacks ports for connecting an external microphone and headphones.
Moving touch screen
The camera is equipped with a movable touch screen that can be folded out into a "selfie" position. It also has an OLED viewfinder and wireless Wi-Fi connection - you can control the camera remotely using a smartphone. The model comes standard with a M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ zoom lens - although the "kit" has a small aperture, it is ideal for shooting a variety of scenes. Among the wide range of optics for the Micro 4/3 system, everyone can find the right option for any needs.
