The model is good, but the cost doesn’t fit into $600. The technology is cheaper than a DSLR, and the reliability is higher (also included in the price). We’ll wait until it drops to $400.
Any model has advantages and disadvantages!

Great camera
3 December 2014
An excellent classic camera with good image detail. The photos are extremely sharp, thanks in part to an excellent stabilizer. The color rendering is wonderful, so you can upload or print JPEG format images directly without editing. It takes great landscape and portrait photos, and works wonderfully indoors. I've taken an abundance of beautiful photos with my child, took it on vacation, went hiking, and shot during rafting on the Yuruzan. It operates quickly without pauses (1 second), typical for recording, but it slightly lags when shooting moving objects. There are many settings; you can play with color and exposure, and there's a wide selection of filters. There is a button with customizable functions, allowing you to create any shooting mode you like. There is an excellent AUTO mode for beginners.

Shooting at night has its nuances, but with experience in settings, you can achieve good quality photos. There is no autofocus backlight, so you have to work with manual focusing. The video quality is good. Another nuance to note is that the live image on the monitor is projected in much worse quality than it appears in photos. This is obviously done to avoid overloading the sensor.

Advantages also include the ergonomics of the body - the camera is very comfortable and easy to hold, even with sweaty hands, the grip is better compared to flat models. The light weight is also a plus - it's very convenient to wear on a neck strap. The battery holds a charge,
good sharpness, color rendition, battery holds a charge for a long time
no traditional viewfinder, rather complicated menu

Limitless possibilities for creativity, always great photos and videos.

The camera is fast, smart, and long-lasting. It takes about 2 seconds to turn on and focus. After pressing the shutter button, the photo is taken immediately, so you almost always catch the desired shot. The number of settings and their combinations seems almost limitless. But if you shoot in automatic mode, you can always achieve great photos, which is very convenient for less experienced photographers at first. Despite the fact that the photos and videos are large in size and high quality, the battery charge lasts for at least 200 shots and a few minutes of video. The built-in flash is powerful. Indoor and nighttime photos are almost as good as those taken during the day. The camera is compact, and the front part of the body is protected by metal. The model is comfortable for both daily photography and travel.
Highest quality photos. No need to process them later in special programs on a computer. Built-in artistic filters can be applied even before shooting.
The number of various settings is simply enormous, with such a camera even an experienced photographer will never get bored.
Video is activated with a separate button and comes out of the highest class, with clear, loud sound. During recording, you can use zoom, art filters, and enable tracking focus.
Among the settings in the menu, there is a "Shooting Tips" guide, which can help you learn professional photography with this camera.
The battery holds well and charges quickly.
The display image is not as clear as desired and reflects under direct sunlight.
The menu navigation is not very convenient; even to make minor adjustments, it takes quite some time and requires pressing several buttons.
In "panoramic shooting" mode, images do not stitch automatically and this has to be done manually later.
Although the body is relatively small, it's still inconvenient to shoot with one hand.
