Noctua NH-D15 G2
![]() |
A dual-tower processor cooler from Noctua, which is a direct successor to the legendary NH-D15 model. According to the Austrian manufacturer, over five years, the company's engineers have conducted a total overhaul and modernization of literally every element of the system, from the radiator and heat pipes to the fans and thermal paste. The new model holds a flagship position in Noctua's range and can compete with top AIO (all-in-one) liquid cooling systems in terms of efficiency.
Like the original model, the Noctua NH-D15 G2 is designed for enthusiasts and professionals who focus on maximum cooling efficiency when assembling high-performance systems with overclocked Intel and AMD seventh or ninth series processors. The technical architecture of the model includes an improved heat dissipation system with eight heat pipes integrated into a nickel-plated copper base.
The dual-section aluminum radiator with an asymmetrical design has a 20% increased heat dissipation area compared to the previous version, while maintaining compatibility with motherboard components, including the top PCI Express x16 slot. The package includes two new NF-A14 G2 fans with a magnetic bearing SSO2 centering system. This is the most advanced type of bearing — compared to hydrodynamic bearings, they provide a lower noise level and have greater wear resistance, but due to their cost, they are only used in premium-class cooling systems. The optimized blade design allows for high cooling efficiency at a noise level of 25 dB at maximum speeds of 1500 RPM, and the PWM control system adapts the cooling performance depending on the current thermal load. The high reliability of the fans is confirmed by a declared resource of 150,000 hours of operation, significantly exceeding industry averages.
