An inexpensive entry-level processor that belongs to the low-cost Intel Pentium series of the Alder Lake generation. Designed for installation in simple and not too demanding office systems designed to solve basic tasks like working with texts, spreadsheets and e-mail. Built on the basis of a new modern 10nm process technology and designed for installation in motherboards with Socket LGA1700 connectors. The CPU contains two large cores with Hyper-Threading support and runs at 4 GHz. In synthetic tests and real world applications, the Pentium Alder Lake is about 30% faster than its direct predecessor from the Comet Lake family. Another important difference from the low-cost Intel processors of yesteryear is the support for the new DDR5 memory and backward compatibility with the DDR5 standar...d, which will greatly simplify life when upgrading the system after a few years. The maximum clock frequency for DDR4 is 3200 MHz, for DDR5 - 4800 MHz. In total, the RAM array can be expanded up to 128 GB, which goes far beyond the needs of low-cost systems. To save on a discrete graphics card, the chip is equipped with a simple integrated Intel UHD Graphics 710 video subsystem.
