No longer a flagship, but still a very powerful Android smartphone with advanced photo capabilities. In the fifth generation of the Googlephone, the cutting-edge Snapdragon 800-series chipsets were replaced by the Dragon, codenamed 765G, a pre-top mobile processor from Qualcomm with a built-in 5G modem. The standard amount of memory on board the smartphone is 8 GB of “RAM” and 128 GB of space in the internal drive.
There is no slot for expansion cards for regular storage in the Google Pixel 5. The front panel of the device is occupied by an OLED screen with a diagonal size of 6", FullHD + resolution (2340x1080 pixels), a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a “hole” for an 8 MP front camera lens in the upper left corner. The square module of the main camera of the smartphone combines image sensors of 12.2 MP (leading) and 16 MP (ultra-wide).
In the software part of the camera, the portrait mode of photography was upgraded, it was taught how to take high-quality portraits at night, and three image stabilization modes were implemented. The smartphone runs under the command of a “clean” Android 11 OS with guaranteed updates to the “OS” for the next three years. The power core of the model is a 4080 mAh rechargeable battery with support for accelerated wired charging (18 W) and two-way wireless charging (11 W). The case of the device is protected from negative environmental factors in accordance with the requirements of the IP68 standard.

Traditionally, the strength of all "Googlephones" is the high quality of photography. Moreover, it is achieved not so much by increasing the number of photomodules, but by carefully working out the software “muscles” of the cameras.
Photo features
The smartphone's main camera unit consists of a 12.2 MP stabilized main image sensor and a 16 MP wide-angle lens (also with an optical stub). The main camera of the mobile device takes excellent night portraits, it has three stabilization modes Locked, Active, Cinematic Pan and has Google Super Res Zoom technology for digital zoom without loss of detail. The 8 MP island front camera does not lag behind the rear camera, selfies on which are sharp and contrasting.

The increased "hertz" has a positive effect on the rendering of dynamic scenes, for example, in games. Inside the Pixel 5 is a 4080mAh battery with support for fast wired charging (18W) and wireless charging (11W). The model fits perfectly into the upper layers of the medium segment of smartphones and will especially appeal to fans of the mobile photography genre.
