I respect gadgets under the Google brand. I dealt with their first-generation tablet, and I got the fifth Nexus for my wife back in the day. In short, if the price doesn't bother you, then you can and should go for it. First of all, this is a great phone that confidently holds the signal even in less than optimal conditions. It has an excellent earpiece and a cool microphone, so I'm heard clearly all the time. Secondly, I like its P-OLED screen with a large size (6 inches is no joke) and a top-notch resolution of 2880x1440. Notice the unconventional aspect ratio of 2:1, which provides more elongated body proportions while still fitting comfortably in the hand. Thirdly, the smartphone is incredibly fast. Google didn't reinvent the wheel; they just took the top-end platform from Qualcomm with a Snapdragon 835 and paired it with a clean Android 8 Oreo. To say it's performant would be an understatement. Everything runs smoothly, including heavy games like WoT Blitz. Fourthly, this model boasts remarkable cameras and excellent post-processing algorithms. The photos are genuinely wonderful, and you can shoot high-quality images not only during the day but also at dusk or under city night lighting. I knew about this in advance, but I was still pleasantly surprised. And fifthly, with moderate use (3G/4G, some browsing, a bit of music, Viber/Telegram), this model comfortably lasts until the evening of the next day on a full charge. Plus, fast charging QC 3 is supported. Additionally, I would praise the built-in stereo speakers; they deliver loud and clear sound. In 2016, Google joked about Apple ditching the headphone jack, and in this 2017 model, they removed it themselves. It's a shame because I still have good wired headphones, and now I have to use adapters. |
There is no point in commenting on the Google device, but one clarification: they lied a little on the site. This model does not support e-sim. If anyone says that there is - do not believe it. I definitely recommend buying a very cool thing.. this is that rare smartphone that does not need advertising. A balance of quality hardware and crystal-clear performance of benchmark software. All of this is flavored with exclusivity, the latest updates, and a camera that, as of the end of 2018, sets the standard. The paid ratings of some companies cannot compare to the Googlo-phone, which doesn’t talk but delivers.
