How to choose a memory cardTips on choosing memory cards for smartphones, cameras, video recorders, action cameras and other digital equipment
Model overview based on user reviews
The Kingston microSDXC Canvas Go! Plus memory card receives mixed reviews from users. Many appreciate its fast data transfer speeds and reliability, especially for high-resolution video and photo tasks, making it suitable for smartphones, cameras, and other professional devices. It is noted for being waterproof, shockproof, and temperature resistant, adding to its reliability during travel. However, some users have experienced issues such as reduced speed over time and compatibility problems with certain devices. While the card is praised for its affordable price and 5-year warranty, there are reports of defective units and difficulties in formatting. Overall, it is a good choice for those needing high-speed performance, but potential buyers should be aware of possible defects and ensure device compatibility.

wonderful model, really honored

I have been using the Kingston microSDXC Canvas Go Plus memory card for some time now, and I can say it's one of the best cards I've ever used. It's perfect for those who frequently work with high-resolution video or photos because it has impressive read and write speeds. I use it in my smartphone and camera for shooting 4K video, and it works flawlessly. The card hardly lags when recording large files, and data transfer from it to the computer happens quickly, saving a lot of time.

Another important factor is its reliability. Kingston claims this card is waterproof, shockproof, and can withstand even extreme temperatures. This came in handy when I used the card during travels in various weather conditions, and there were no problems.

Additionally, the card supports UHS-I and U3, making it suitable not only for mobile devices but also for drones, action cameras, and other professional devices that require high data transfer speeds.

However, there are a few drawbacks. For example, due to its high speed, it can heat up a bit more during prolonged 4K shooting. Also, for very large amounts of data, for instance, when working with a large number of video files, even greater capacity might be needed than this card offers.
Fast data transfer.
May heat up during extended 4K shooting. For large amounts of data, a larger capacity may be required.

A good card for boosting your smartphone.

Upgraded my phone. Installed it in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. Works fine, I record videos directly onto it and sent all the junk there too. There were some difficulties reinstalling software from the phone memory to the card, but that's not the card's fault, it's just how Android is made. Reinstalled Genshin Impact and gave up on reinstalling other software.

One of the most affordable A2 and U3 class memory cards

Kingston's range of memory cards is dominated by Canvas React drives, while the Canvas Go! represents a compromise between speed and cost. And when this card came to us for tests, it turned out that there was little point in overpaying for an older model.

Speed higher than advertised

Kingston microSDXC Canvas Go! Plus with a volume of 64 GB according to the passport gives out 170 and 70 MB / s when reading and writing, and in fact even jumps over the set bar. In the synthetic tests of CrystalDiskMark and ATTO, we got a slight spread in numbers, but in general terms, the real speed of the card turned out to be almost 30% higher than the claimed one. And this is already entering the territory of the V90 standard and a reserve for shooting in 8K or 4K with a frame rate of more than 60. The card also has a high IOPS (we are talking about A2 class), so it will successfully serve as a quality backup for the ever-crowded camera phone storage.

Nothing to be sorry about

The memory card comes with a traditional SD adapter for use in photographic equipment. The card also boasts excellent endurance - we are talking about water resistance, shock resistance, vibration resistance, protection against harmful radiation and a wide range of operating temperatures. Considering that this is one of the most affordable memory cards, which simultaneously corresponds to the A2 and U3 classes, it can be used with equal success both to expand the memory of a smartphone and to shoot nature from a drone somewhere in the Siberian forest. Oh yeah, and it also has a lifetime warranty.
