The main achievement is the inclusion of a 1" CMOS sensor with a 48MP resolution and an aperture of f/1.8, previously found only in significantly larger and more expensive models. This sensor provides markedly better detail, expanded dynamic range, and superior performance in low-light conditions.

Ultra HD 4K video recording is supported at up to 120 fps, including a slow-motion shooting mode, and the three-axis gimbal has an extended tilt range (from -230° to 95°), enhancing creative possibilities during filming. The obstacle detection system of DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo (RC2) operates in all directions and is complemented by a course LIDAR with a range of up to 25 meters, improving flight safety.

The dual-band GPS L1+L5 ensures accurate positioning even in challenging environments. The O4+ transmission protocol allows FPV video streaming in 1080p at 60 fps over a distance of up to 21 km. The drone can reach speeds of 65 km/h and remain airborne for up to 36 minutes. The extended package includes three Intelligent Flight Battery packs, a charging station, a shoulder bag, and an advanced DJI RC2 controller with a bright 5.5-inch Full HD display with 700-nit brightness. Weighing 249 g, the model avoids the need for registration in most jurisdictions. Key strengths include an upgraded 1" CMOS sensor, compact design maintaining below-registration weight, multi-directional obstacle detection, and long-range video transmission.
