The pre-top motherboard of 2020 with an LGA 1200 processor socket from the Asus Republic Of Gamers overclocker family, whose products are famous for their increased reliability and excellent overclocking potential. Based on the flagship Intel Z490 chipset, which guarantees compatibility with the full range of 10th generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors (Comet Lake, 14nm).
Equipped with a heavy-duty 16-phase CPU VRM power supply subsystem with additional heatsinks, which ensures stable long-term operation of overclocked K-series processors. The Asus ROG STRIX Z490-E GAMING motherboard is positioned as a high-end product for affluent gamers and overclocking enthusiasts who prefer to get maximum performance through fine-tuning key system components.
Allows installation of up to four DDR4 memory modules with a total volume of up to 128 GB, equipped with two full-fledged M.2 ports for high-performance NVMe SSDs. Equipped with a high-speed cabled Intel I225-V network controller (up to 2.5 Gbps) and a top-end dual-band wireless Wi-Fi 6 (802.11n/ac/ax) with Bluetooth 5.1 support. For high-quality sound output, an 8-channel SupremeFX audio subsystem with an improved analogue path and an optical output is used.
