There is no headphone output. No matrix stabilization. The touch screen only works in spot focus mode.

A true autofocus guru of cropped sensor mirrorless cameras in the interchangeable lens camera industry in general. It's no joke, the 425-point automatic focus system at the disposal of the camera clings to the subject in just 0.02 seconds, “with a bang” showing itself in action when focus in tracking mode on the face and eyes. On other fronts, the Sony A6400 body is practically indistinguishable from other representatives of the "six thousandth" league of mirrorless cameras under the sign of the Japanese brand, both externally and in relation to the "insides".

The model is based on a 24 MP APS-C image sensor without a stabilizing pad. The range of its native photosensitivity is measured in the range from 100 to 25600 ISO units. In the "shooting" mode in series, the camera accelerates to 11 fps. One of the cardinal innovations implemented on board the camera was the full touch control of the tap on the 3-inch screen, which leans back to the selfie position.

Also at the user's disposal is a high-resolution electronic viewfinder. The mirrorless camera shoots video in 4K format with reading information from the entire width of the matrix. Of the visible improvements, it is important to note the support for HDR video in HLG, HLG1-3 profiles. One “refueling” of the camera battery tanks is enough to “click” over 400 shots.

I recommend both the camera and the lens.

Purchased this camera for shooting videos, paired it with the Sony 18-105 mm F4.0 G OSS. The camera appealed to me because it has a very fast yet smooth autofocus when recording video. It supports S-Log2, HLG - probably one of the most convenient tools for subsequent video editing in an editor. The screen is touch-sensitive, making it convenient to highlight objects for focusing during photo and video shooting. Ergonomics are top-notch, with a comfortable grip. Fits easily into a compact backpack. Photography capabilities are also pleasing, holds eye autofocus excellently during portrait shooting.
Smooth and fast autofocus when shooting video. Juicy and sharp picture. A large selection of modes and settings for complete control over the shooting process.
