— natural emerald refers to precious stones in the original sense of the word — it is highly valued (along with sapphires and diamonds) and is one of the status materials designed to emphasize the image of the owner. However, for wedding rings, the characteristic green colour of emerald is considered unconventional, and therefore such products are rare. At the same time, synthetic emeralds are most often used in them — they usually have a bluish tint and do not give such beautiful reflections as natural stone, but they are much cheaper, and from afar they are almost indistinguishable.
