Rhinestones are called artificial imitation of precious stones made of heavy glass or other similar material with a high dispersion index. Due to these properties, a relatively inexpensive crystal gives beautiful iridescent reflections, reminiscent of a diamond or other gem. Specifically, Swarovski is the world leader in the production of rhinestones, this name has actually become a household name. And although technically many of these crystals are ordinary cubic zirkonia (see the relevant paragraph), however, belonging to the Swarovski brand makes such inserts quite prestigious (for their class, of course). However, in wedding rings, Swarovski crystals are found mainly among relatively inexpensive products.
