— the function of automatic shutdown of a hob. Features of the operation of this function in different models may vary: in some devices, auto-shutdown is triggered by a timer (see the relevant paragraph); in others — when overheating or during long work without user intervention.

Note that it is difficult to implement auto switcg-off in a gas burner (and gas control plays the role of a security system in it). Therefore, this function is rarely found in gas hobs.
