Semi-passive cooling

— a feature found in PSUs with active cooling. With this function, the cooling system can automatically turn off when the load on the unit is reduced and the heat dissipation drops. This reduces the noise level and energy costs for cooling operation. At the same time, it is worth noting that in models with two fans, automatic shutdown of cooling system is not found: such PSUs emit a lot of heat even at low load, and it cannot be removed without active cooling.
