A modern and high-performance ATX power supply from PCCooler, designed for gaming and enthusiast builds. The model features high efficiency, reaching 91%, support for the ATX 3.1 power standard and an extended set of protections, including OVP, SCP, OPP, OTP, OCP and UVP. 80+ Gold certification confirms the high efficiency and reliability of the device, as well as reduced heat generation.
PCCooler YN1000 is positioned by the manufacturer as an advanced solution for gamers and enthusiasts looking to build a powerful gaming system with a pre-top or top-end processor, as well as a flagship GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card. The total power of 1000 W provides sufficient power for demanding components. Cooling of internal components is implemented with the help of a large fan with a diameter of 135 mm, which automatically adjusts the rotation speed depending on the current load and switches to a silent Eco-mode if the power consumption of the PSU does not exceed 40%.
Among other features of the model, an interesting design of the grill with triangular perforation and support for the PCIe 5.1 standard stand out, which is useful for connecting the latest video cards without the need to use adapters. And the modular cable system allows you to use only the necessary power cables, keeping the system in a tidier appearance, which is especially critical when using transparent panoramic cases or standard chassis with a viewing window.

Easy to install, quiet fan. A defect, I'm not sure how typical it is for this manufacturer. The service center did not find any defect during diagnostics, so I waited for several weeks to no avail, and the money for delivery went to waste. |
Built on the Andyson P32 platform. It features Japanese components and a full-bridge topology. It has a fan controller for better regulation, unlike other coolers that constantly turn the fan on and off based on the sensor. ATX 3.1, operates quietly even under high load Reviews mention that it gets a bit hot under full load. |

I spent several weeks trying to fix it on the software level, trying everything I could. I also disassembled and reassembled the computer, hoping to find a cable that was improperly connected. I even bought a new powerful UPS with a battery backup that allowed the computer to continue working for almost an hour during power outages. All to no avail.
I sent the PSU and the graphics card for diagnostics under warranty. Both were returned without identifying any problems. Only the graphics card service center provided a documented report with their name and address, and it was evident from the condition of the graphics card and packaging that something had been done with them. As for the PSU, there was no indication of who, where, or what had been done, or if it was even taken out of the box.
Having no more faith in the warranty's value, I replaced the PSU itself and bought a BQ Dark Power 14 850W. PROBLEM FIXED. It has been working for 2 months now, even under more load than before, without any issues.
Most likely, one of the 8-pin cables in the set is faulty, and there is no spare included in the package; I need all three provided for the 9070XT. Official replacement cables are not available on the market, and it's better not to risk valuable equipment with third-party cables.
