18500 batteries
18500
— one of the representatives of the currently popular family of batteries is Li-Ion (see "Technology"), with a cylindrical case, a nominal voltage of 3.7 V and a five-digit marking. The mentioned marking indicates the dimensions: the first two digits correspond to the diameter in millimetres, and the remaining three to the length in tenths of a millimetre. So this size assumes a thickness of 18 mm and a length of 50 mm.
Batteries of this type have the same diameter as the popular 18650, but are shorter. Their standard capacity is also noticeably smaller. In general, this is a relatively rare size.
