In addition, lithium-ion batteries are almost not subject to memory effect. Their main disadvantages are their high price, relatively low discharge currents and sensitivity to compliance with operating rules. At the same time, the operating temperature range for such batteries is quite narrow, and overcharging, excess discharge current and other extreme situations are fraught with fires and even explosions.
