The Fortis series from Endorfy includes mid-class tower coolers built according to the formula: maximum quality + serious TDP + minimum noise level. The use of proprietary 140 mm FLUCTUS fans with automatic PWM rotation speed adjustment allows you to achieve minimal noise both during idle time and under maximum load. The manufacturer does not directly indicate noise level measurements, however, judging by the reviews and comments, the noise level even under heavy load does not exceed 24-27 dB (note: depends on the model, number of fans and thermal package), which can be called a very worthy result. “Our cooler is so quiet that you can hear a fly flying in the room and the heavy breathing of the enemy sneaking behind you” - a quote from the press release of the Endorfy Fortis 5 tower.

The range of the Fortis series is dominated by mid-size tower-type coolers designed to cool 6/8/10/14-core processors from Intel and AMD of the Mainstream and Performance class. All of them use a classic design with a cooling radiator, additional heat pipes and a single fan, which is located on the side of the radiator. To reduce noise levels, Endorfy engineers have expanded the fan speed range from 250 to 1500 rpm. For comparison, most competitors in the price category under $100 start at 500-800 rpm and, accordingly, are noisier.

Updates to the Fortis series model range do not occur so often, and the most relevant at the moment (note: spring 2024) is the fifth generation. It includes three fairly similar cooling systems: the standard Fortis 5, Fortis 5 Dual Fan with dual fans and Fortis 5 ARGB with addressable backlighting. Considering the average thermal package is around 200-220 W, the best option would be a powerful and moderately hot processor of the Ryzen 7/Core i9 caliber, while for top-end chips of the ninth series, manufacturers recommend paying attention to more powerful liquid cooling systems from the Endorfy Navis line .
