All Gammaxx coolers are based on three principles: low prices + efficient cooling + decent functionality. Most often, such tower CBOs are used to cool 6 and 8-core processors from AMD and Intel in production assemblies and mid-range gaming PCs that do not require serious manual overclocking.
Most Gammaxx COs carry a single 120mm cooler built around a durable Hydro Bearing. Most often, it boasts PWM speed control, which can vary from almost silent (500 - 900 rpm) to high (1600 - 2000 rpm). Less common in the ranks of this family are models a la GAMMAXX 400 EX, which use a scheme with an enlarged heatsink and a pair of fans. But Deepcool saves on backlighting, preferring to do without it at all, or limit itself to a simple one-colour illumination.
Over the entire existence of the Gammaxx series, it has released more than a dozen tower coolers made according to similar principles. First, the usual Gammax model with an index of 200/300/400 goes on sale, then for several years Deepcool releases numerous modifications with the EX, V2, GTE, T and K prefixes. All of them are built on a similar principle: a powerful single cooler is attached to the backplate with a massive heatsink, which is pierced by several heat pipes. The design height usually does not exceed 158 mm, the effective TDP is in the range from 130 to 180 W, and socket connectors are equipped with mounts for all current Intel and AMD platforms.
