The Silent Wings series from the famous German manufacturer be quiet! includes fans with an optimized impeller profile, reduced clearances between the blades and the frame, modified hydrodynamic bearings and optimized 6-pole motors. According to the manufacturer, Silent Wings are intended for those users who value quiet, or even better, silent cooling.


The Silent Wings range includes models with 120 and 140 mm impellers. They differ in maximum speed, as well as the presence/absence of PWM control. Regular versions spin at a maximum speed of 1000-1600 rpm, providing the user with maximum acoustic comfort. Between 2022 and 2024, the German manufacturer released the fourth generation of the Silent Wings cooler, and also introduced several modifications of the Pro high-speed class with different types of mounts, including anti-vibration case mounts and radiator corners.

High-speed Silent Wings models are capable of operating at maximum speeds of up to 2500 rpm, providing an air flow of around 130 m³/h. True, the noise level declared for them can reach 31 dB, which is comparable to the performance of more affordable Pure Wings coolers.

Well, modifications with the Pro prefix, according to the manufacturer, are “created for users who do not accept any compromises” and are capable of accelerating to 3000 rpm. Such options are especially useful for cooling hot flagship processors using tower coolers or liquid cooling systems.
