USB 2.0 Wi-Fi equipment
USB 2.0
— the presence of at least one USB 2.0 connector in the design of the device. In this case, we are talking about USB ports designed to connect various external peripherals. Types of supported USB devices and how to use them may vary; they should be specified separately, and as typical examples, one can cite work with a 3G / 4G modem (see "Connecting an Internet (WAN)"), as well as connecting a flash drive or external HDD for file server mode (see "Software features") .
Specifically, USB 2.0 allows you to transfer data at speeds up to 480 Mbps and provides a relatively low power supply. Because of this, this version is generally considered obsolete and is gradually being replaced by more advanced standards (primarily USB 3.2 gen1 — see the relevant paragraph). However, USB 2.0 connectors are still very popular in Wi-Fi equipment: their capabilities are often quite enough, and you can also connect peripherals for newer versions to such a connector — the main thing is that there is enough power.
