A telezoom lens aimed at advanced amateur photographers shooting with Sony mirrorless cameras with an APS-C image sensor. This is the five and six thousandth series of cameras from the Japanese manufacturer. In conjunction with the "carcass" of the corresponding camera, the lens provides shooting in the range of equivalent focal lengths of 105-525 mm. A five-fold zoom allows you to significantly zoom in on distant objects, focus on architectural elements, and shoot shy birds and animals.
The maximum aperture of the model is not the most outstanding — it varies depending on the selected focal length within f / 4.5-6.3. The built-in OSS optical stabilizer with a claimed efficiency of up to 4.5 shutter speed or exposure steps is called upon to compensate for its deficiency. During zooming, the lens body increases in size. To prevent spontaneous extension of the tube, a special lock is provided on the model body. In addition, the telephoto boasts fast and silent autofocus, weather protection and a very light weight (about 625 g).
