Pocket Terabyte

Patriot Transporter is an external solid-state drive for IT students, businessmen, content creators and, of course, gamers. The capacity can vary from 512 GB to 4 TB, the most optimal, in our opinion, is the one-terabyte model. The compact case, about the size of a lighter, is made of aluminum.

Overheating protection

The metal not only adds strength, but also effectively dissipates heat. Sequential read and write speeds reach 1000 MB/s, but only when connected to a USB 3.2 Gen2 or Thunderbolt port. Compatibility with older USB versions (3.0, 2.0, and even 1.1) is also maintained, but each of them imposes increasingly stringent bandwidth restrictions.

Resistant to vibration

The native USB cable has a small Type-C connector on one end and a paired adapter for a large Type-A on the opposite end. This makes the drive extremely versatile: desktop PCs and laptops with Windows and macOS, smartphones and tablets with iOS and Android, Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles. Unlike external hard drives, SSDs are not at all afraid of vibration.
