MSI's 27.9-inch gaming monitor is one of the flagships of the Optix brand line and represents an advanced class of solutions. It uses a pseudo 10-bit (8 bit + FRC) Rapid IPS matrix, which is characterized by an instant response (1 ms from gray to gray) and a frame rate increased to 144 Hz. The advantages of the picture also include excellent detailing, because the screen resolution is 3840 by 2160 pixels, and the pixel size does not exceed 0.16 ms.

The MSI Optix MAG281URF monitor also supports the NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible function, and also has other gaming options, such as Night Vision dark scene highlighting. The model is also suitable for other use cases, including graphics processing (thanks to a wide color gamut with coverage of 124% of RGB space), viewing HDR content (there is a DisplayHDR 400 certificate confirming that peak brightness can reach 400 nits).

To connect to a PC and other devices, there is not only a pair of HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort v 1.4, but also USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode), as well as a USB 2.0 hub for peripherals.
