Bought one like this in 2017 for my gaming build, back then it was perfect, served well until 2022. After that, an upgrade was necessary. Normally runs in air at a minimum of 5GHz (I overclocked it with a multiplier of 50 but the CPU voltage was 1.5 in auto overclock, didn't want to risk it). Set to 4.9GHz in a stress test on AIDA64 with a maximum of 91°C on a ZALMAN 10S Optima for 17 minutes without throttling. Adjusted to 4.8GHz (CPU voltage 1.456 at 4.8 but lower otherwise) with a max temperature in games of 78°C, overclocked Corsair RAM 8x2=16GB to 3100 from 2400 nominal. Simple Asus Prime z370-P motherboard, overall satisfied. CPU CPU Frequency Motherboard Chipset Memory CL-RCD-RP-RAS 6x Core i5-8600K 4800 MHz Asus Prime Z370-P Z370 Int.
