The smartphone of the once popular gadget manufacturer HTC belongs to the middle price segment and offers rather controversial characteristics. First of all, the design suggests that they decided to save money on the device: both the case and the frame are made of plastic, the frames around the screen are far from minimal, and the “chin” is quite large, so that the “face” of the device is more like a low-cost handset.

On the front panel is a 6.5-inch display with a low resolution of 1600x720 pixels. The 16-megapixel front camera is located in a waterdrop notch, and the fingerprint scanner was not hidden under the screen, but moved to the back side. As for the main camera of HTC Desire 20 Plus, it consists of four modules. There is a 48MP base sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP depth sensor for blurring the background, and a 2MP macro camera.

There is also a dual LED flash. From the hardware there is a Snapdragon 720G processor, which is designed for mobile gaming and belongs to the middle class, a decent amount of memory 6/128 GB, and also with a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and an NFC. The 3.5 mm mini-Jack connector, fortunately for lovers of wired headphones, was not removed. Also, the smartphone can be praised for its battery life: it is powered by a capacious 5000 mAh battery, and it also supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology.
