Software and interface:

HTC Snap runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard. The interface uses the basic interface of the OS, and the main screen is slightly modified by HTC.

Applications:

• Outlook Mobile is a programme for organizing your data, contacts, messages, mail, tasks, and calendar.
• Smart Filter - the ability to sort and select the necessary messages by entering a specific word or set of characters.
• Pictures & Videos is a programme for viewing pictures and videos, as well as the simplest editing of photos and images.
• ActiveSync is a programme for synchronization with a desktop computer. There are three ways to connect to a PC: via cable, infrared or Bluetooth.
• Voice Notes is a small application for recording voice notes and comments.
• SIM Manager, SIM Menu - applications for working with SIM card numbers and, accordingly, a programme for accessing services provided by the operator.
• Marketplace - a store with which you can download, install and buy additional software.
• Windows Update is a programme for automatically or manually updating the system, installing new service packs.

Maps are used for navigation in HTC Snap - Google Maps. With the help of maps, you can get directions (not accompanied by voice prompts), search for addresses by street names or places (restaurant, cafe, name of your own institution, etc.). Maps are downloaded from the Internet, and, accordingly, theoretically, all major cities in the world are available to you for navigation, wherever you are. Without an internet connection, the application becomes inoperable.
