The smartphone of the once popular HTC brand, both in terms of characteristics and appearance, belongs to “middle-class” devices, even closer to the entry level, but at the same time it has a slightly overpriced price tag. It should be noted right away that this is far from a compact, but a weighty device with a plastic case, 9.4 mm thick and weighing just over 200 g. On the front panel there is a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels, which spoils the large “chin” from below.
A 25-megapixel front camera is located in a round cutout in the corner, and a fingerprint scanner and an elongated main camera with four modules are placed on the back panel. This is a 48 MP sensor, 8 MP wide, 2 MP macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor. The HTC Desire 20 Pro is based on the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which was announced back in 2019. Also, the smartphone is equipped with an NFC, a microSD memory card slot and a 3.5 mm audio jack, and battery life issues fall on the shoulders of a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15 W wired charging.

Not all drawbacks can be fixed or gotten used to. It lacks the usual HTC functions. Stock Android. You can adjust to any new smartphone. It's convenient that there is a 3.5 Jack port. You can connect regular headphones and listen to the radio without the internet. Good processor. Large memory. Excellent rear and front camera. Bright screen. Good audibility during calls. Good multimedia sound from speakers and headphones. Battery lasts 30-49 hours and 6-8 hours of screen time. Charges a 5000mAh battery with an 18W charger in 3 hours. Charges to 50% in 1 hour. AnTuTu score of 177617 points. The main 13MP camera shoots well and clearly. The 48MP camera shoots slightly better, with file sizes almost 48MB. 8x zoom. Shoot only with a stand. 1. No "maximum energy saving" button
