The latest incarnation of the AORUS ELITE motherboard, based on Intel's advanced Z790 chipset, unveiled in late 2022. The model belongs to the flagship level, is equipped with advanced circuitry and advanced tools for monitoring and overclocking the system (Q-Flash, Clear CMOS, UC BIOS, etc.), and its network card is equipped with an advanced wireless adapter that supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard.

Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI7 is equipped with an LGA 1700 processor socket designed to accommodate Intel 12th, 13th and 14th generation Pentium, Celeron and Core processors (Alder Lake, Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh).
The presence of an extremely productive 19-phase makes it the optimal choice for Hi-End systems with Core i9-caliber processors and GeForce RTX 3080/3080/4080/4090-level video cards.
