The second revision of the successful full-size gaming ATX motherboard based on the AMD B550 chipset from 2020. Like its predecessor, it is equipped with an AMD AM4 socket and is positioned as a mid-range model. It is one of the most affordable mid-range boards from the famous Gigabyte AORUS family of overclocking products. Designed for use in compact gaming and overclocking systems with reasonable cost.
Compatible with 4-, 6-, 8-, 12-, and 16-core AMD Ryzen 3000/5000 (Matisse/Vermeer, 7 nm) processors and Ryzen 4000 APUs (Renoir, 7 nm). Unlike previous-generation models based on the B450 chipset, it supports the PCIe Gen4 x16 system interface, which doubles texture loading speeds in new gaming graphics cards and data exchange rates with high-speed NVMe SSDs.
